New Beginnings

I’ve been absent from my blog for a while now and that’s ok because that exactly what I needed.
However, blogging was a great personal diary for me and in the time I’ve been away I noticed all of the blogging cliches that I was sucked into.
My comeback isn’t for anyone else, it’s for me. I’ll document my journey as and when I feel like it. No Twitter spamming, Insta begging or Facebook page to promote myself. This is for me.
If someone else reads it, great! Thanks for the visit!

This is what’s happened so far...

In May 2017 I finally completed my three year degree at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Three rollercoaster years landed me with First Class honours and a huge amount of confidence. I was so proud of myself and the achievement I’d gained.

I worked minimum wage jobs over the summer and continued to live with my parents in Essex. At 29 this was so tough for me. I love my family but I felt like I was going backwards in life, not forwards like others my age. The pressure was unreal, sometimes still is.

To my absolute surprise, my hard work and persistence paid off and in August 2017 I started a job with a company that shows promise for my future career. I moved myself away from my family and friends to start this new life.

It’s not been easy, but here’s to new beginnings...
